Foreign citizens are entitled to health care under equal terms as Serbian nationals. The state health institution and private practice are obliged to provide emergency medical assistance to the foreigner. Foreigners themselves bear the costs for emergency medical assistance provided, as well as for other types of health services provided at their request, unless otherwise determined by law or international agreements.
